Learning about Children's Early Language and Literacy Development

The Early Language and Literacy Investigations lab is looking for undergraduate research assistants to work with children in their classrooms. We hope to learn more about children's language and literacy development.

Want to learn more about child development? Earn college credit while gaining valuable research experience! We are looking for undergraduates who want to become part of a team working to understand children's language and literacy development during preschool. Interested undergraduates will have the opportunity to work with children in their schools. They will also assist with data entry, scoring, and analysis. Students are encouraged to develop and test their own research questions. This often leads to local and national presentations, which can be great for graduate school applications. Learn more about us at www.ellilab.com

Qualifications

Students should have at least a 3.2 GPA and be willing to commit to one year on the project.
