Michigan Center for Contextual Factors in Alzheimer’s Disease

A pilot project focused on levels of familiarity with symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s Disease, diagnosis and care, and perceptions and concerns about AD, as well as barriers to care among Mexicans and Puerto Ricans in the Grand Rapids region.

The RA will assist in the recruitment, data collection, organization of data files and analysis. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the coordination of the project with partners in Grand Rapids. 2. Contribute to team conceptual planning of coding categories and procedures for maintaining reliability and validity of coding process. 3. Assist in data analysis and reports of the results.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has the following skills: 1. Demonstrated interest in neuroscience, neurodevelopmental disorders and/or ethics 2. Ability to understand/speak Spanish 3. Demonstrated knowledge of research skills (analysis, synthesis, referencing) 4. Proficiency with Microsoft office programs including Word, PPT, Excel etc. 5. Strong communication skills. 6. Ability to work independently, including attention to detail
