Students will report on environmental news for an online regional news service operated by MSU's Knight Center for Environmental Journalism. Stories typically deal with recent scientific and social science stories, environmental laws, litigation, events and controversies. Knight Center faculty edit all stories to ensure professional-caliber work. Many Great Lakes Echo stories are reprinted or reposted by newspapers, environmental and industry groups, and government agencies in the U.S> and Canada.
